Malala: Young Advocacy Blogger from Pakistan

Malala Yousafzai, blogger and activist, is still fighting like a warrior in her country to grant Women equal rights to men. Despite the real threat by extremist fundamentalist and misogynist groups she kept resilient. In October 2012, she has been a victim of an assassination attempt but she carried on combatting stronger and stronger. Malala, sister courage, shocking, provoking, disturbing, dissident, rebellious, straightforward and frontal with an incredible ability to denounce injustices from within her country is today the youngest ever Nobel Peace Prize recipient. In the meantime, the path in her country as well as in many other places in the world is still long and barbed. Let all the young people across the world, let all the advocacy bloggers wherever they are in the world have her will, strength and courage to stand against segregation, apartheid. Social media activism would shake tyranny.

Congratulations Malala from a fellow blogger! Thumbs up also to Kailash Satyarthi from India the co-Nobel prize winner for his struggle in favour of children's right to education. It is indeed symbolic that the Nobel prize winners are from Pakistan and India.
